Bengal Mark is a purpose-driven startup based in Bangladesh, dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized entrepreneurs by providing a platform to introduce their products to the global market. Our primary focus is on handicrafts and non-traditional products, supporting producers who reflect the creativity, heritage, and resourcefulness of Bangladesh.

Thousands of artisans and innovative producers across the country create unique, high-quality goods—but most lack access to proper markets or export opportunities. Bengal Mark bridges this gap by offering end-to-end support, including logistics, export consultancy, label production, and brand promotion. We specialize in three core areas: Export Facilitation, Label Production, and Global Branding of Bangladeshi Products.

We are also committed to leveraging technology to promote the use of non-traditional raw materials, transforming overlooked or underused resources into valuable products for the international market. Our Team

Ahmed Haider, co-founder of Bengal Mark, brings over four decades of diverse business experience to the venture. A graduate of Dhaka University (Class of 1984), he began his career with an engineering firm in the Middle East before returning to Bangladesh in the early 1990s to establish his own garment accessories manufacturing business. By 2000, he expanded into the international market through a successful apparel buying house, exporting ready-made garments to Europe. With extensive expertise in Bangladesh’s jute and leather industries, Ahmed Haider plays a key role in promoting sustainable, locally sourced products to the global marketplace through Bengal Mark.

Ahamed Ismail Hossain is a dynamic co-founder of Bengal Mark, with a strong foundation in supply chain management and global business operations. He began his professional journey in 2013 in Dhaka, Bangladesh, gaining hands-on experience in import-export management, market expansion, business analytics, and operational strategy across various industries. He earned his MBA from Western Illinois University (WIU), USA, in 2025, where he served as Vice President of the Association of Supply Chain Management and actively participated in debate, cultural organizations, and social initiatives. Ahamed is passionate about driving sustainability by fostering innovation in business processes and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and returns.
